The Reel was a weekly LinkedIn newsletter based ​on our weekly email newsletter of the same name. ​During the two months I oversaw this newsletter, ​we gained 544 subscribers, which is about 20% of ​our followers. The newsletter had an open rate of ​33% and a click-through rate of 4%. It was part of ​our effort to grow our email list and included a ​prompt to sign up for the email newsletter.


We also implemented a Meta lead-generation ad ​campaign to further expand our newsletter ​audience. The campaign had a daily budget of $10 ​and targeted NYC adults interested in Podcasting, ​Video editing software, Cinematography, Video ​editing, Film editing, Video production, Filmmaking, ​or Videography. Since the ad started running in ​October 2023, it has generated over 1,034 sign-ups ​with a CTR of 6%, an engagement rate of 8% and a ​cost-per-lead of $2.50.
